Kristine is an activist, curator, teacher and writer from Denmark living in New York. She is a passionate scholar of the global history of sex education, a firm believer in kids and their ability to come up with original solutions, and a rambling amateur when it comes to speaking to her own three boys about sex.
Kristine’s training in oral history includes the Oral History Winter School Intensive (OHWS) and courses in ethics and trauma-informed approaches at the Oral History Department, Columbia University (OHMA). She is a member of the International Oral History Association.
Kristine co-founded PRAXES Center for Contemporary Art in Berlin, Germany, curated the biennial Bergen Assembly 2016 in Norway, worked in museums, taught in universities and art academies, wrote a ton of articles and essays—and had nowhere near as much fun as she does now, talking about sexuality with teens full-time.
